TIFFANY FISH, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Tiffany has spent 15 years working with youth in nonprofits, including seven years in schools focusing on education. She loves helping create environments where students feel curious, supported, and excited to learn. Her favorite part of Live Oak Academy of the Lowcountry is the people: the students are funny and endlessly curious, the parents are supportive and work hand in hand with staff, and the team of educators is talented, collaborative, and inspiring to be around. When she’s not at school, Tiffany can usually be found playing volleyball, reading, spending time on the beach, or exploring the outdoors with her husband, Ryan, and their son, Lincoln.
Lynn Cuccaro, Director of Teaching & learning
Lynn Cuccaro is a global educator with more than 25 years of experience in educational leadership, strategic design, and professional development. Deeply committed to lifelong learning, she holds dual master’s degrees in Curriculum and Instruction and Gifted Education.
As the Founder of The Global Collaborative, an educational consulting firm, Lynn partners with innovative schools and organizations to design sustainable systems that expand what is possible in teaching and learning. Her career spans roles as an educator, director, consultant, curriculum developer, and member of school accreditation teams, working with schools across the United States, Canada, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
In her local community, Lynn has served as a Beaufort County School District Elementary & Middle School Teacher, IB Coordinator, Interim Director of the First Presbyterian Day School, a Reggio-inspired preschool, and has held board positions with the Sandbox Children’s Museum and Live Oak Academy.
As both an educator and a parent, Lynn holds the Reggio Emilia approach close to her heart, embracing a meaningful journey of inquiry, collaboration and real-world discovery. She is passionate about creating environments that empower students to think critically, embrace creativity, and find joy in learning.
Mundy Glock, Middle School
Mundy Glock has worked in the education field for over six years. During that time, she has worked as a teacher for preschoolers, designed and delivered STEM curriculum as an Outreach Coordinator for the Challenger Learning Center, and has worked as a middle school ELA teacher the last three years.
Graduating from Florida State University, she holds a Bachelor's degree in English Education and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Through her educational journey, Mundy has fostered a learning environment for her students that encourages self-exploration and passion for reading and learning.
Mundy is inspired by the Reggio-Emilia approach to learning and its core value of real-word experience and inquiry-based learning. She believes that collaboration, creativity, and meaningful exploration empower students to take ownership of their learning while building confidence and critical thinking skills.
Mundy values the importance of expression, independence, communication, and community within the classroom. She believes that strong relationships and a sense of belonging are essential foundations for meaningful learning. Originally from Florida, Mundy and her husband have moved to the Hilton Head area to start their lives together. Outside of the classroom, Mundy loves baking, traveling with loved ones, and caring for her two senior chihuahuas.
Jennifer zolezzi, ELEMENTARY
Jennifer Zolezzi has been an educator for more than 30 years, fostering curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. Throughout her career, she has worked with children ranging from toddlers through the early elementary years.
A Southern California native, Jennifer earned her Bachelor's degree in Applied Arts from San Diego State University. She and her family relocated to Bluffton in 2021, where she continued pursuing her passion for teaching in a Reggio-inspired preschool. She has also taught at a local Montessori school and holds Montessori teaching credentials for grades 1–3.
Jennifer's teaching philosophy is rooted in a child-centered, Reggio Emilia-inspired approach that values play, inquiry, and authentic, real-world learning experiences. In 2018, she traveled to Reggio Emilia, Italy, to participate in the International Study Group at the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre, where she deepened her understanding of the Reggio Emilia philosophy. She is passionate about creating learning environments where children feel seen, capable, and empowered to become active participants in their own learning.
As both an educator and a parent, Jennifer is deeply committed to nurturing the whole child—academically, socially, emotionally, and creatively. She believes every child deserves to be known, valued, and inspired to discover their unique gifts.
DEIHA TORIN, EARLY CHILDHOOD
Deiha has been an early childhood educator on Hilton Head Island for the last 29 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and is passionate about creating environments where children can explore with their whole selves.
Deiha is continually inspired by child-led approaches to learning, drawing from Reggio Emilia and Montessori philosophies. She believes it is essential to give children a voice and choice in their learning, offering a space that is safe, nurturing, and thoughtfully challenging.
As a mother of two adult children, she's had the opportunity to support them throughout their educational journeys and give them the wings to pursue their goals. Outside of the classroom, Deiha enjoys gardening, exploring with friends, and trying new foods.
